2025 Mount Gretna International Film Festival

Inspired by Michael Evan Deitzler

We’re honored to welcome acclaimed filmmaker Jay Rosenblatt as our featured guest at this year’s festival. On Saturday, join fellow filmmakers for a special screening of his Oscar-nominated short films When We Were Bullies and How Do You Measure a Year?, followed by an engaging discussion with Jay himself. This is a unique opportunity to connect, reflect, and gain insight from one of today’s most thoughtful voices in documentary film.

Check out Jay Rosenblatt’s website to learn more about his career and films.

The Mount Gretna International Film Festival honors the life of Michael Evan Deitzler by celebrating storytelling through independent short films submitted from around the world. Set in the artistic community of Mount Gretna, PA, the festival takes place during the same weekend as the beloved Mount Gretna Art Show giving visitors the perfect opportunity to experience both events. It’s a weekend full of creativity, culture, and scenic beauty, where guests can explore the art show by day and enjoy inspiring films by night.

Join Us August 16th & 17th For the 2025 Mount Gretna International film Festival
